Shy but Happy!
Dexter is one of three dogs that were sealed in tiny metal cages in a wooden hut on a farm. For years they knew nothing else, no human companionship and locked in a prison of fur restricting movement, they could only go in circles in their tiny cages. Dexter has been with great foster carers since then and thanks to them he is now ready to go to a permanent new home. During his rehabilitation he has been neutered, vaccinated and chipped.
Dexter can still be a little shy when meeting new people but his self-confidence has improved greatly. He loves to go out on walks, is house trained and is very happy in the company of other dogs. Dexter is a 6-year-old Bichon x Yorkie and weighs approx 6 kilos. If you have the patience and understanding to help Dexter continue to build his confidence please contact us.
