- [Button](http://pets.tucatz.com/shop/adopted/button/) - Such a Cute Survivor! Six weeks ago this four-week-old kitten was spotted in the gutter beside the main N332 road. Exactly how she got there is not known, she was injured, unable to put any weight on her back left leg and her left eye was closed and swollen. It was a miracle that she was still alive. She was placed into a foster home but needed regular visits to the vet clinic for treatment including manual administration just to empty her bladder. A week later we were so relieved when she started using the injured leg and to pass urine without manual manipulation by a vet. A few days later, despite treatment to her eye, it worsened and bulged out and she was rushed during the night to the emergency animal hospital in Guardamar. A scan revealed that she had a large abscess undoubtedly caused by the physical trauma shortly before she was rescued. Unfortunately after 5 days in the animal hospital on intravenous drips, the decision was made to remove the eye. Now back in her foster home, she is running around playing with anything that moves. We have named her Button and for some lucky person, she will make the most wonderful pet companion. These 2 little dogs were found today on the riverside in Rojales after they had been thrown over the dike wall onto the riverbank below. Shocked after their horrendous ordeal they froze in fear and huddled together. Maddy, a Facebook friend of ours got down onto the the riverbank and waded through mud to get to them. The little girl was limping. A visit to the vet clinic and an X-ray revealed that there may be old untreated fractures and a possible new hip displacement injury. The vet is sending the x-ray to a specialist so we will know more next week. The girl (laid down in the photo) looks like a chihuahua cross and is around 2 years old. The little boy is a puppy around 6 months and although traumatized he appears to be in good health. They are now in one of our foster homes and we hope that soon they will be available for adoption.

They are 10 years old and are brother and sister so are looking for a home together. They are jack russell cross yorkie and don't shed there much hair. Bart and Lisa are both micro chipped, fully vaccinated, both neutered and love traveling in the car. They make great little guard dogs and will make a fuss if someone comes onto your property. Lisa is the boss and very sweet. For her size she can walk for miles when in the humor or can be just as happy lazing in the sun or heat. Bart is just an ole slob who will never fail to greet you or sit beside you or follow you to where ever you are sitting....suppose you would describe him as been totally loyal where Lisa tends to suit herself. He is like Lisa when it comes to walks but will be eager every time the lead is produced. They work very well together, she sits on him for the warmth and he just lets her. If he eats the food first and she wants some she just barks at him and he gets out of her way. If they are out for a walk and another dogs wants to pounce/play or sniff and she wont allow it he will jump to her defense and warn them off. A great marriage by all means. They are both good with other dogs and have been brought up with a cat.

In her short life she has been discarded by the people she thought would protect her, ending up on the streets being bullied by the feral cats and prevented from getting near the food that we put out. Pontus has previously been living outside in a Spanish farmhouse courtyard. He is very good around children and when necessary is very protective by barking to create alarm. Our vet has confirmed that although traumatized they do not have any serious injuries. They are now being cared for in a PinS foster home. They will be medium size adult dogs.

She was found with her mother and saved from being killed. They were exhausted and in panic trying to avoid being hit by cars on a busy roundabout in Elche. Canela is good with other dogs, with children and with cats too. She likes to play with balls and her favorite is a squeaky toy. Today we took Canela to the vet and she has been cleared for adoption. Blood tests for Leishmania and Heartworms both negative.

Sparky was born on the 15th March and has had all his vaccinations, he is now in one of our foster homes and ready for a new home. He will be roughly 5/6 kilos when fully grown.

The test results were all negative and so Kiko can now be offered for adoption. He is about 15 months, a very obedient and happy dog that loves to play and go out for long walks.

Henry is 1 of 3 pups we rushed to rescue after the owner of the mum called to say the pups were seriously ill and 1 had already died, we rushed all 3 to the vets and they confirmed what we already suspected, Parvo Virus. They were immediately put on a drip and stayed in the vets 5 days, thankfully all 3 recovered and 2 have already been adopted. Henry is the smallest of the 3 and he's so adorable. He's loving the attention he's getting from his 2 big German shepherd foster brothers and his foster parents. He is a German Shepherd x Belgian Shepherd, around 12 weeks old and will be medium/large when fully grown.
